Sometimes I need a large measure of one of my favourite fluids to ease me into the day…
This week hasn’t really been one of my better ones in terms of mood, I’m afraid to say. While I suspect it wasn’t Molly’s intention, “Blue” is currently a very apt prompt for me. This picture pretty much captures where I’m at in my head.
What could be better on a lovely, warm, summer’s afternoon than a nice drive in the country? Somehow, it seemed appropriate to dig this one out of the vault and give it another airing, as it were.
Anyone fancy going for a (Sinful)Sunday drive?
I took a lot of photos for this month’s prompt before I found one I was happy with. I may share some of the ones that didn’t make it in future weeks, but for this week I thought I’d go alfresco, and use some natural framing.
For me, the best part about weekends is simply not being at work; a time to relax and unwind.
Being a country boy at heart, and living in a small village, one of my favourite ways to unwind is just to go for long, quiet walks in the sussounding countryside. Sometimes I will take my camera with me, but often I will just amble aimlessley, following my feet wherever they take me.
It is, I admit, just a bit too chilly still to be stepping out like this at the moment though.
